The home screen shows your collection of translations. You can filter them by name. You can activate the generation of translations or remove a collection. You can create a new blank list of translations or load from an existing project.

blank

There are two ways to load existing translations – you can specify a single file or select a directory from your computer from which the application to read files containing translations.

It is necessary to enter the name of the list. If the name matches an existing list of translations in the app will be overwritten by the loaded files.

It is also necessary to choose the type of list so that it matches to the file or files you choose, and language that will be used if you have selected one file.

blank

After selecting a list of translations you will have access to four sections. The first is settings. You can enter or change the name. You can also specify what type of files and in what folder to be generated:

blank

In the next section, you can manage the keys that will contain translations – you can add, remove, filter them and choose keys for translations. The idea of ‚ this filtering is to be able to select a subset of the keys to translate only in the next section because if keys become a lot, the review and management of them will become very heavy. There is a text area that serves as template of types. For example: Android Array XML, PHP or JSP page, SQL queries.
If you have a website, you can try to put it in the text area and to extract text from it, which are to be translated. If the apps extracts texts, which are not for translation, removing them from the list below will restore the original text in the text area.blank
The section with translations allows editing keys in the matching languages. I have added functionality for translating group of value by copying values ‚ from one language into the text field below and the text area from below to the fields of a language.
You could search previous translations from other projects by key or by language and value
For example, search by key {{name}} or by value en_US=Name.
blank
In the last section you can try generating selected in the first tab file types.
