Soft Skills is hermaphroditus – King & Queen of Software – development, sales, marketing, branding & all – and not only software. I don’t say it in terms of click-bate or to be modern or “grab” some group. This is true in practical & logical term.
Developers
Soft skills are increasingly important in software development because they enable software developers to communicate effectively with other team members, understand the needs of users, and work collaboratively to solve complex problems. While technical skills are crucial to building software, soft skills are essential for creating software that is usable, accessible, and meets the needs of users.
Contacting Managers & Business
Software development is often a team effort, so being able to communicate effectively with other team members is critical. This includes not only verbal communication, but also written communication, such as documentation and emails. Time management skills are also important, as software projects often have tight deadlines that must be met.
Finding Problems
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills are also essential in software development. Developers must be able to identify and analyze problems, devise solutions, and implement them effectively.
Sales
If you want to stay in business – you must have sales. To have sales – you – or someone in your team – must understand the user needs and requirements. This is again – a soft topic. It is not about code, it is not about chips, nor architectures. It is about the other person – how to make win-win long-term relationships, while also archiving closes (getting paid).
Community Building
There are several professional and non-pro platforms where – building groups, followings and more is essential to create communities.
- Discord
If you don’t use some of those, your other choice is – email – where the owner of the “connections” may be you.
One of the hardest things to archive is product building feedback. Also, having control on the users table is essential to being in business in long term. But, adapting to the users is also important.
In the end – it doesn’t matter on what platform you communicate – as long as you are active and keep talking to your people.
