It all depends on your needs, your individual use case, your requirements and what ultimately will fit you best. The main goal is to accomplish growth, improvement in the correct direction – without wasting too much money, time and effort.

If you want Domain Name on Wix.com – you’ll start paying for every small, single extra. Same is true for WordPress.Com. A Relatively fixed in terms of price and with possible upside until you hit big scale or use is the option to Rent a Server and a Domain. At least in one of the Bulgarian Hosting Providers, you could rent a server for 40 Euro and reserve a domain around 10-20 Euro (it depends on the name). After “having” a place on the Internet, you could install WordPress (or some other Platform) and include in it – Simple Web Site, Blog, Shop, or whatever you have in your imagination.
Online Blog
You could pay for a rent of a server and a domain and install a blogging platform under your domain name as suggested above. WordPress.Com is also an option as well as wix.com. But, if you are just getting started, you could pick other options. The Social Networks are mostly free. You could start writing content right away – right now – on most of them. Google also offers https://www.blogger.com/ for FREE.
Create Online Shop
Again – here – you have several options – free and paid.
There are multiple platforms to up-start and publish a product for selling for FREE. The biggest ones are Amazon, eBay, OLX, Facebook Marketplace, and there are probably many more. In a lot of them – the fee comes as percentage on the transactions you archive. There is a business use case called Drop Shipping – where – you even don’t own or see the products – you just list them and redirect the orders. In some sense – you are pushing up these already big brands. If you want to setup your own thing – it comes with an increasing price.
The Paid options are – renting a server and a domain name and installing a Software Platform of your choice – PrestaShop, WordPress + WooCommerce or other. If you don’t know how to setup them or you don’t want to, there are other paid options. The biggest one is probably Shopify and there are Wix.com, WordPress.Com that also offer the Shop feature. If you want other options, you must look up the Internet more. To find what fits you, you must try things and search more. There is no other way.
